siberian husky

hi there im new to this site,my friend showed me it last night so thought id join up and say hi,im getting my new siberian husky puppy in 3 weeks!! wish me luck,also if anyone has some useful tips im be more than willing it listen xxx

hi there to everyone, yes im very excited about having my husky,ive been researching now for about 6 months,me and my family have owned in the past an old english sheep dog, who lived to a grand old age of 14!! my mother also has a staffordshire bull terrier who has a fantastic personallity,very kind and sweet natured who gets on great with all other dogs,and also very excitable too,i know my husky is going to be a completly different challenge,but im up for it,i have loads of time on my hands, also when i go to work my husky will be comming too! so if anyone does have tips that they could give me that would be fantastic,was reading up on the forum about on lead training,i will be def keeping mine on the lead when out with her, but also using a horse lunge line even maybe 2 put together,as i would be too worried about her running off.as i live in the countryside i have some fantastic walks and cant wait to get her started,well i will look forward to hearing from you all bye x
