Canon EOS 300D

Just wondering if anyone has or has had this camera and if it's any good?
I would like opinions based just on the camera and the quality of pics it can take and not it's price.

If anyone has and wants to post some pics they took with it please feel free too.... but do NOT post pics of spiders... or well I'll freak out

I did do a search but that thread never came up

Some one offered me there one for free, as it apparently has this line thing down the middle of the pics, but she sent me a pic and I honestly can't see anything.
So think I'll just take it to use to practise before getting a newer version.

It's a very good camera, and will certainly get you on the Dslr ladder Those pics BKs took were excellent!

Hopefully someone who has'/had the 300D will reply with more info in the morning

So glad we went on that trip to Italy now, as it is one of the girls we met on the trip that is giving me it.

Yes they were very good, especially the landscape one.

Hopefully someone will, if not I'll give BK a pm tomorrow and ask her about it.
