She's asleep now I think. The one thats just been born is another one with the white mark on the back of its neck, and I went to have a look at it and the cheeky mare knocked my hand away with her nose, ingratitude or what

That sounds great I like that... all very well when they are this small but can you imagine poor June looking after 8 or 9 or more pups when they get to 5 weeks old

You don't actually notice because they creep up on you gradually, a bit like your own children sort of morf into adults from babies and you never notice.
So glad I've got them all reserved, then they will be gone at 8 weeks - then again if I have problems with the eye test, then it may be more than 8 weeks - but hoping I can get them to do an eye clinic early January!!!

Not 100% sure on sexes, she has left the cords very long, but I am thinking 6 girls and 2 boys, but I could be wrong

I'm going to have to force myself away from this now and get some sleep having had none on Monday night and very little on Sunday.

I hope Mabs' family is now complete .....I'll have to wait until I wake in the morning to see.

She is being an awkward Madam, she came into season just when I had her hip and elbows booked in, then she ovulated 10 days earlier than any of mine ever have, so it stands to reason really that the birth wouldn't go to plan!!!

Yes bless her. Lord when I think how tired breastfeeding just one baby makes you! Poor mabs! How many nipples does she have? Bella's only got 7
