Mostly smaller dogs... Yorkies, Westies, Papillion

Seen a couple of labs, GSD's and Collies

Only Boxers I know are us and Max's breeder, who lives about a mile down the road (and has 3)

Hevvur now I would have said American Bulldogs because the estate seems to be overrun with them at the moment due to 2 breeders living on the estate.

But we all see different things I suppose, maybe I see ABs because I love em.

I suppose its like when you get a new car or see a car you like all of a sudden you see lots and lots of the same car.

most of the usual suspects in our village - as they build new houses, I see more & more new pups - most common are probably gun dogs.
Also have a bedlington terrier & a working police dog that i have never been able to suss out what it is- I think I heard that it is a deliberate cross (big, slim build with huge pointy, sticky-up ears) specially for the police, but I have never been able to talk to his owner as he never comes near anyone else when the dog is with him (& I have to confess probably wouldn't recognise him in the street when he is by himself!)

What worries me about all these new pups is that I never seem to see them grow up - I see them a few times as pups and then they seem to disappear Hopefully its because I tend to walk early/late and they are being excercised during the day (but then I am around on weekends etc).

So far we've seen a real mix of breeds here on the island. from yorkie's to collies to Dobe's and loads of labs. i think we doubled the islands population of cockers since we moved here. only seen two others and nice to see both had full tails. so i would say it's got to be the Lab, they seem the most popular.
