Unfortunately there are too many of them out there.
It makes me so mad. I am glad he will be going to a new home and be given the chance to show his potential.

Glad he's got a new home and a chance at life - now

anyone fancy a 5 month gsd till he stops being a nutter, lol - I am only kidding

Some people don't have a clue when it comes to pups and what they need.

A friend has got a rottwieller puppy from a rescue, and they have told him not to take it to training classes for at least a year and not to allow it to mix with other dogs for at least a year. I think this is wrong what are other peoples views on this advice.

Is this a wind up? Who said this? Taking such advice would absolutely ruin a rottweiler! He needs to be out and socialised and in training classes asap, socialisation with other dogs is a MUST! Which rescue gave such duff advice please? They really need reporting as if someone who didn't know better took this advice they could end up in serious trouble, especially with a breed like this. Very bad.

i assure you this is no wind up i didn't believe it myself till he showed me the paper work and it was there in black and white, the socialisation bit they have ignored but still have't enrolled in training classes. They did say the name of the rescue but i can't remember and had never heard of them although they apperently have centres all over the country.
