Today's walk

Missy and I went for a walk today in the farmer's fields that back on to our house and on the way back we met the new people who had moved into our road.

We stopped to have a chat and Missy had a great fuss from the husband.
"that's a gorgeous bitch," he said. "what breeder?"
"Battersea Dogs Home" I told him.
"you're joking right? You're not joking? I didn't know they had dogs like that. I'd give my right arm to have a russell like her. You ever want to give her up, I'll take her in a heartbeat."

Now what on earth use is a right arm to me?
All joking aside, that made me a very proud mum

Don`t it make you proud? I get this a lot, especially with Shamus as he`s an unusual breed here. They`re always surprised that such lovely dogs are routinely put down in Ireland as strays. (He was saved from a Pound)
