Thats one seriously poor excuse.
Mind you I have to say the hairs from mine are not grey...and my rug is

Best one I ever had was.....my husband said I have to get rid of the dog ....asked 'why' the reply was ''Oh OH is so jealous of it'' I'd of put hubby in the rescue and kept the dog

Poor Harvey.. Some people are so stupid, they'd be better off giving no reason at all or admitting that dog ownership isn't the same as an andrex puppy advert the worst excuse I've heard was 'we found a scar on her'..!!

Can't belive the numpties rescues give dogs to when they rule out so many homes due to their strict criteria, and they wonder why things like this happen!!

what an idiot... some people are ridiculous.

Also, i know this wasnt the point of the link, but it really bugged me how the kennel boss, kept refering to Harvey as 'it'! He knows the dog so can surely call him 'he' (assuming he is a he with a name like Harvey )... i hate when people call dogs 'it'! (unless they dont know the sex obviously)

I`m with Dr House on this: people lie.
What they really mean is that they`re too lazy or stupid to care for an animal.

The dog is clearly better off with someone else, how ridiculous.

Mind you, I've just bought carpets to match my dogs! I already had throws to match them!

The original response to her 'complaint' by the rescue is rather alarming too:

'The day she took him home, she called us up and said there was a problem with Harvey as his colouring clashed with her lounge curtains. We told her to put him in another room'

So they would have left the poor dog with this heartless cow even once they knew what she was like!
