OUCH! My feet hurt!

Dougal and Iona, in the last couple of days, have started play fighting. Whilst it is absolutely lovely to see Dougal having such fun with Iona, even though occasionally I have to rescue Iona from being pinned cause Dougal can't hear her yelp, I really really wish they would stop insisting on fighting around my feet!

My poor feet are getting involved and my goodness, small and bigger paws landing on my feet hurt!

LOL Meg, they'd be in bits in seconds. Only another week and a half to go! Going to miss that little widget when she goes home.

Oh never considered that adult dogs do use the squeal as a "too much" sign and being deaf he would not hear that.....wonder if they were together for longer would they learn a way to converse. So to speak.

And I think I would just give up on the feet or put them up under you. Two staffs no chance.

Kazz, it has been difficult because Dougal doesn't hear her yelping nor her play barks so it takes him a while to get that she is just wanting to play. With our last foster Tara it wasn't so bad, she was bigger and could just push him off but Iona is so tiny I have to 'rescue' her. He has done really well though.
