My new baby!

Everyone, please meet Bonnie, my new Tibetan Terrier baby!



She is named for Ann Bonny, an infamous lady pirate of the 18th century - because of her 'pirate patch', of course! But also because she is just the bonniest wee pup you ever saw!

She is just coming up to 8 weeks old, so she is still with the breeder right now - I can collect her on Saturday - but I wanted to show her off! Esau (my PON boy) is not going to know what hit him!

She's such a well-mannered little lady; while we were standing watching all the puppies in their run, trying to choose just one, Bonnie took herself over to a grate covering a drain in the concrete floor, and proceeded delicately to do a wee in it, avoiding making a puddle!

Hopefully this means house-training will be a breeze, ha-ha!!

I'm hoping so! Same characteristics, same coat care, just smaller!

We would have had another PON if our backs had been stronger - but as Esau has aged, we've struggled to lift him onto the grooming table etc.

He has missed having a doggie-buddy around since our beloved Angus died, and many of his regular doggie-friends have passed on now, too - we're hoping he'll be given a new lease of life
