A very heavy heart

It was with a heavy heart ive let Digby go, he was a brilliant show dog allthough not at the top he would show his socks off for me ,I rescued him when he was five months old from people who waited a year but couldnt cope when they got himwhen I got him he had a hernia, no teeth, football socks in his tummy, food aggressive but the sweetest of natures he only wanted to please, his sad start to life meant his immune system was not good and when he got demadec mange the reall suffering began, he suffered weekly baths of aludex(lethal stuff) he had every cream lotion and potion thrown at him even vacines from abroad all without complaint , he loved his walks and his food and had oodles of love to give to anyone .
I feel very sad that i could not help him septosemia set in this last month and theyre was no more we could do for him but to go meet his mum at rainbow bridge no pain no baths just lovely sunshine and long walks
He gained his sh. cm while in the ring and stood in front of chanpions on many occassions but he abouve all my dogs will always be a champion in my heart and has left a large whole,Mckenzy, bilbo and wallace are lost they dont know whats happened theyre playmate has gone .
I no in my house "diggers" will always live on
Run free my wee champ.
