A lovely walk a nice change.

We had a lovely walk this morning,usually Meg is kept on lead and we just walk the lake where dogs are supposed to be on lead.Anyway the field opposite the Lake was empty this morning so both were allowed offlead and had a good run,again there recall was spot on.We then put them back onlead and continued around to the lake

There were a few other dogs about with their owners and they actually put the dogs onlead when they saw us coming apart from one guy who put his little terriers onlead but left the collie off.

We stopped for a chat and the terriers grumbled and barked a little bit and Meg did raise her lip slightly but was on a short lead so no chance of biting.She then relaxed and completely turned around and ignored them,so a little progress.

She did however tell the collie off after he came around the back off her and decided he was going to try his luck and mount her which she took exception too.She didn't bite just snapped at him(an air snap)The owner didn't call his dog off or correct the behaviour so we let Meg do it.The dog never came near her again

Tyler was just taking everything in his stride as he usually does and quite happily lay on the floor whilst we were talking,completely chilled out!

Anyway it was really enjoyable no incidents with other dogs and it was a really good walk,made a lovely change
