I don't really go in for ornaments as such, but I love interesting stones and I like to have little heaps of round pebbles here and there. I've also saved a few interesting shaped rocks from the rockery and set them into the garden as decoration. I've also saved the tree trunk from my old apple tree which was cut down this year and stood it on my patio and used some of the branches for edging borders. I'd love to have some really interesting pieces of sculpture in the the garden but classy-looking ones are far too expensive for me, and I'm not a fan of garden gnomes! With ornaments less is definitely more and a few really stunning things is better than loads of little bits and pieces.

Something like a nice-looking birdbath is attractive and useful.

For some unknown reason, we have a stone hedgehog and a stone ferrett in our back garden. I didn't buy them and OH says he didn't. They must have just come with the house!
