Glad you have an idea what it is now.

Can I suggest you get a thermometer so that next time you can tell them and they might get their fingers out!

Hope he feels better soon. Don't know if he likes the tinned little oranges but I used to live on them when I had sore throats (still do!).

I do have a normal under the tongue thermometer but it's almost impossible to get an accurate reading from him so will probably invest in an ear one.

He loves fruit such as grapes and strawberries but has turned them down too so far.

Or you can get the thermometer strips that you just put on their forehead. He probly won't object to those.

Poor soul It's terrible trying to communicate to a child with autism when they're ill isn't it? I totally empathise with you. I use a digital thermometer underarm for Ethan....works well. Add 1 degree to the reading.
When Ethan is ill like that, I insist on a home visit, explaining that he is autistic. They always come out and when they see him they understand why we insist they come to the house.
I hope your lad is feeling better soon hun. Poor soul xxxx

He's improved a lot thanks, finally ate his first meal in over a week this evening

He has lost so much weight, I can count every rib and vertebrae and his trousers won't stay up! Poor lad!
