help needed

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am disabled with M.S. and I am now having trouble caring for my self as I now have limited use of my hands.

I have a tiny (1.7kg) female spayed yorkie two and half years old who I love dearly but am no longer able to care for properly and is in need of a good loving home. she may be small but she thinks she is very big she is well behaved most of the time but is a bit of a tea-leaf when it comes to tissue paper whichshe then loves to tear up.
Please can anyone help

Angie, has this been posted elsewhere? If not, would you mind if I crosspost?

Hi Angie

What Wolfie means by 'crossposting' is that she'd like to copy your post and post it on other forums that she is a member of, so more people can see it and so the better chance of finding someone who may be able to help.

Good luck!

hi there, i can relate to what you are saying, my mum has M.S and she also has a small dog, a bichon frise. She has 4 carers come round to her everyday who feed the dog.
Can you get a carer to help? Usually in vets they have dog walkers who you can hire to walk your dog and take them to vets etc. If you find it expensive, you can sign up for PETaid, which is what i am trying to put my mum on as she cant afford that sort of thing with just benefits.

Hello Angie I appreciate the reasons for your decision but wonder if there may be someone to help with your dog..what is it you need in particular can you say? It would be such a shame to deprive both of you of the companionship each provides for the other. Many very disabled people continue to keep a dog, maybe there is some other solution we can look at
Best wishes Mini.

I'm sorry to hear you have MS. I agree with Minihaha though. I think it would be more beneficial for both of you to keep your Yorkie. You may regret placing her

Is there anyone who would walk her for you? It would be such a shame if you had to give her a new home.

Just to thank all of you who have helped me.
My yorkie has now found the perfect home where I know she will be very happy.
