I wouldn't want to be this cat!

Brave kitty!

Pogo the cat faces a series of dog encounters every day to decide if the dogs are suitable for life in homes with felines.

Report features Richard Moore from the Dogs Trust

The cat doesn't appear bothered at all to me, although I could be wrong as I don't have much experience with them. I did enjoy watching it though.

I wouldn't like to see them take my Lana past her though, she goes absolutely crazy when she sees a cat or anything she thinks is a cat, like ornaments on windowsills

Great video, wonder if Pogo gets paid 'danger money' an extra bit of cod perhaps

If our Bara was walked past that cage I have to say there woudn't be much left of the cage or poor old Pogo

The Cat WAS stressed. At one point it was panting. It takes and awful lot of stress to make a Cat pant.

I dont know much about cats, but i think on the whole Pogo was ok... i would think he gets more stressed with reactive dogs, but at the end he seemed happy enough with the two dogs when he was out the cage... so must be generally comfortable around dogs.

I'm not sure how I felt about this. I know that he was safe in the cage unless the dog proved to be calm. I don't know a lot about cats but there were points when he looked stressed. I don't know how quickly a cat who is used to being around dogs will get over little spats like that. We have a few cats at my local DT - one who we have been warned never to touch as he has injured more people than any of the dogs!

Pogo looked like he was fine to me, and I have 4 cats living with my 7 dogs, in fact I think my Cookie could manage that job, he loves dogs

pogo seemed fine to me, yes at one point in the video he was panting a bit, but for the most part he was doing what cats do, telling off dogs that are a bit too interested in him
