Had Cassie had any seizures while she was on 3 tablets a day? It does sound as though she is more affected by the epilepsy than my Rowan who has been fit-free since he started his meds.

So pleased all seems well this morning, I can't believe it's been 3 years already since she started having the fits

Fingers crossed the meds will keep her ok from now on. xx

Yes she did, back in April but we've added a human drug called Keppra since then so thought we may be able to reduce the phenobarb. We went a full year with nothing and she's had 3 this year.

Thanks everyone. She's fine today and the vet has said to keep her on diazepam for a couple of days and back to 3 phenobarb a day. To be honest, I'd rather have her fit free and worry about the liver when the time comes. It's all down to quality of life.
