Japanese Chin shed all year round, so my entire world is viewed through a mist of white hair. Pet vaccuum cleaners are a joke - the only way I can get the hair off the stair carpet is with a stiff brush!

And black clothes for work?? - don't even want to talk about it .

I'm asthmatic hence why we have a non-shedding breed-Kerry Blue terriers-lovely no hair shed at all!!

However, when my husband empties the hoover he can never understand where all the dog hair in there comes from!

It is nice not having dog hairs about the house though but they do need a lot of grooming. Horses for courses really.

We're looking after my in laws black lab for 2 weeks and he is shedding, Jago is just starting and we have Sika as well so our oak floors are a multitude of dog hair colours! I've given up trying too hard, there are better things to do than spend my life hoovering and fretting over hair! If I wash the floor then literally a few hours later it's covered in muddy footprints again so I've given up on that too. Every couple of days keeps it to an acceptable level I reckon ha ha!
