dont think i could watch the film. the book had me bawling my eyes out. maybe watch it on the dvd.

I cried for the book and the movie! I have a friend who watched it and doesn't have pets and wasn't affected at all!!!

yup, i think people who have never had pets will not be affected at all. my hubby was upset too. i cannot watch/read anything that contains sad stories about animals without sobbing away....

I dont normally watch things with aniamls in, i cry even if it isnt sad.

I cry at the theme tune to Black Beuty before the programme even stated lol

I have seen the film advertised but i didnt know it was sad????

Haven't seen the film but read the book and that was bad enough-had to keep putting it down while I wiped away the tears-don't think I could cope with the film!!!!
