Yes all in favour for it but National service as in training for the military not actually being in the military and requiring to see active service, they can make that decision once they've done it.

Against. Individuals should have the choice as to whether they wish to bear arms. It is a very personal choice which alters the shape of a persons character.

From a selfish point of view I would not want to see my son or daughters forced into such a position either.A difficult enough position as a parent without it being mandatory.

I voted 'Yes' - I've never met anyone who did National Service who thought it was a bad thing - A few have told me it was hard and they didn't like it but all, without exception, said it benefitted them in latter life.
