I had my last litter chipped at 7.1/2 weeks old and only one squeaked, I think the earlier they are chipped the less fuss they make, they all just continued playing afterwards I was really surprised, especially after my Flora screamed blue murder and wouldn't get out of her bed for the rest of the day and that was done by our vet!!
