I have reserved a tri coloured English Setter puppy and have only seen him through pics at the moment. He has pink 'splodges' on his nose but the rest of the litter have black/brown noses. The breeder assures me the pink will darken but I have concerns. Do you think it will turn black or brown or will it stay pink?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Hi Dont know about that breed, but when dalmations are born they are white with pink noses, and gradually they get there spots and the nose darkens,so I would imagine that the puppy you are looking at.One of our members is also getting a springle spangle, his thread is A New Addition crystalgirl

I love pink splotches on noses, I just wish it wouldn't darken.

Congrats on the new addition.
