Hoki & Stumpy on sheep

well, for some reason I only managed to get one shot with half of Stumpy in it But they were both there honestly.

First time for Hoki - she was a complete natural, its just such a shame that she's not young/fit enough to do it seriously...boy did she enjoy herself.

And finally half of stumpy with Viv's dog and possibly a bit of Hoki (they had a run around together at first)


Was an excellent afternoon despite the weather. I hope to be able to go more regularly, though won't be able to manage every week.

Loved the ones of Hoki with her tongue out, my OH does that when he is concentrating as well

Stumpy has been twice before, but this was Hoki's first go (as far as I know, of course I don't know her full history before she came to us, though I'm pretty certain that she wasn't worked). I ummed and arhhed as to whether to give Hoki a shot as it seemed a bit late to be introducing her to sheep at her age, but I'm glad I did.

Hoki did a double take when we got in the field and I told her she could go to them - she gave me a look which said 'what, really, I'm allowed - are you sure?'
