Etta today

Etta and I went up to the midlands today for an HTM show. She was so good and ended up fourth in freestyle---her first rosette!

It makes 9 hours driving worthwhile!

The most I would travel for a dog show is 2/2 and a half hours. (one way) Must mean an awful lot to you to travel such a distance, pleased you had a good result. Was it the Hagley one?

Coming from you that is high praise---thank you.

It was Hagley---it is the closest we have apart from the cornwall one in July. We either travel or don't compete.

Its meant. Showing means a lot to me and many of my friends travel immense distances, its just I cant be arsed to travel huge distances knowing I have to get up at 5.30am the next morning for work!

It is the price we pay for living here----but I wouldn't change it for anything.

I wouldn't do it if I had to get up at 5.30----I'd have to organise days off!

That's why I stopped doing heelwork to music with Parker. He enjoyed it but too far to travel to the events. I have a non-doggy husband and a neck injury that makes driving long distances not a good idea if I want to move the next day!

We still train some of the moves though to keep their brains ticking.

Glad you did so well.
