Dog treats for old dog with colitis

What dog treats are good for an old dog who has colitis but refuses to eat dog food unless given treats as well?

Yes,

He's been to the vet and been tested. His bloodwork was all fine.

What about a raw carrot? Mine love them, and they get them as treat, especially after every meal, they sit and wait for their carrot!

If it's been going on a long time the colitis, I would definitely ask your vet about EPI. Even though you've had bloods done, they can't do this particular test at your vets, it is a very, very specialised test. Please ask your vet about it when you next go there.

How about the odd arrowroot biscuit? We recommend that our new owners don't give our rescued Boxers loads of dog treats but just give them the odd arrowroot biscuit instead.
