The Fastest Indian

Great film, starring Anthony Hopkins, it's about Bert Munro a New Zealander who spend his life rebuilding and modifying an old Indian motorcycle.

The bike was made in the 1920's and Bert was in his sixties in 1963, he wanted to take it to the salt lake in Bonneville USA and try for the land speed record.

I can relate to Bert very much because of the hard work I put into restoring that old Jeep last summer, Bert got up every morning and went to the bottom of his garden and peed on a lemon tree he had growing there, I did the same only it was on the hedge.

The film's well worth watching and it's a true story, it's available on hire in the video shops.
