Walnut's last walk

So lovely, but so sad (tissues at the ready)

I watched this on TV and it really upset me.
The poor love was lugged around the beach looking like he had no idea what was going on, looking like he was scared and fed up.
I would have wanted to spend the day quietly, just me and him having cuddles

Each to their own but personally I want to spend the end alone with my dog, with the exception of the vet obviously and tbh I want it over fairly quickly

I thought it was really rather lovely ... but personally I would rather have been at home with my dog. However, I do understand the urge to take Walnut to his beloved beach one last time.

I think the idea was lovely and I have no doubt that Walnut's owner did it through the love for his dog (and not realising just how the idea would snowball).

Each to their own. It wouldn't suit me or my dogs, but I am glad Walnut's owner had so much support. Dog owners are a breed on their own (and the best!).
