Watching Mocha stalking a gull

So last night, we agreed that it was quite nippy in the house and decided to put the heating on for an hour. Went upstairs to make sure all the bedroom windows were shut first though, and while I was doing our bedroom noticed Mocha stalking a yearling gull who was really interested in a bone that had arrived out the front.

It was really funny cause this gull REALLY wanted the bone, but was not sure what to do about Mocha...it kept an eye on her and each time she edged a little closer it would edge away. This of course, caused Mocha to do that 'cat' thing of looking elsewhere 'you, why would I be interested in YOU?!' Gull moved back into bone, Mocha edged closer, gull edges away and so it continued for about 5 minutes till the gull eventually lost it's nerve completely and took off.

What was funny was said gull was around the same size as Mocha, and she still wanted to tackle it. Silly moglet.
