thanks everyone for your comments. marvin is doing really well, he's growing so fast. a bit wobbly on his pins but he's getting there. his mum is fine, you would never know she had had a litter, she really wasnt sorry to see marv go, i dont think i will chance another litter from her, strange really as she has the sweetest nature but she just couldnt take to her pups.

I know I was as shocked as you when I found out, took me a week to pick myself up off the floor!

But it is true, you've just gotta find the on switch!

Have you decided if he is staying I know its hard to let a hand reared baby go I still have 1 who is now almost 5, and her son who is 12 weeks him and his sis where hand reared after a c section and mastitus, there mum did the cuddling and cleaning i did the feeding.
well done on rearing him its hard work 24/7

marv has gone to a new home nowand is growing well, it was very hard to let him go. he went for his jab a week or so ago and the vet thinks that there could be something wrong with his eyes, might be mild cataracts, they willknow more when he's had some tests done, so im really worried now, poor marv hasnt had much luck has he. ive been reading upon eye diseases and apparently, not having the right nutrients from mums milk can cause some problems, as i say, we will know more when he goes back for his next jabs and then sort out what to do. tony, who owns marv emailed me the other day and said that marv and their older bitch were trying to dig through to the birds lol, so he can see something.
