Understand about it not recognising the key fob but if it keeps going off you can go to the fuse box and stop it altogether.Conor's van did that once, with the flashing lights and all, drive you nuts!!

June my Volvo did that once and the recovery man disabled something sorry can't remember what it was I had to lock it manually etc., till I could get a new key fob. Not sure if its the same thing as yours.

They don't seem to be able to disable it, hopefully Matthew will become My Very Best Friend and do whatever it is it takes. He was talking very technical like to me and lost me within the first sentence so hopefully the fact that he is so technical will put him on a par with the brain that is malfunctioning.
I'd be quite happy with a car that didn't need all this, its coming to something when the car doesn't let you drive it!!

Car manuel? Sometimes the fuse for the alarm is connected to your car battery apparently Just a thought,if it keeps going off, maybe a neighbour could locate the fuse for you

Nobody I can ask really. Its not gone off since, and sat and waited till 6.30 before I went out to girls. I will ask Mathew tomorrow about this fuse and where and how, so if it ever happens again I can do that, good thinking Eileen, I know these fuses are all different colours, so need to know which colour one it is, theres red, blue, yellow and green from memory, but its a long time since I had anything to do with it all.

June I did lose the automatic locking on the key when I had my car recomputerised. But that was preferable to be able to use the car.

LOL Eileen, all is quiet at present at least. I'll have to play this one as it goes along. I don't care about the automatic locking, the key works just as well
Just hoping this lad doesn't charge fortunes, he said it would take about 2 hours, pray for sunshine because if it is pouring down, like it has been today, then I doubt he'll want to stand out in the rain for 2 hours.
