Great News!

The Specialist Doctor called yesterday (surprised she was working!!) to say my bi-opsies came back negative for Cancer. I could have kissed the face off her if she'd been in the room (lucky for her lol )

I totally sympathize with anyone who has gone through something similar, especially of course if the outcome wasn't as fortunate as mine. I can honestly say Sid and I feel like we've been wrung out, it has been the worst 2 weeks of my life. We were so delighted and relieved to hear the news, we feel like our lives have been on-hold since I got the referral.

Sid went and bought a gorgeous (and expensive ) bottle of red Shiraz (my favourite) to celebrate - and next week we are going to Keswick for a couple of nights as a treat.

It sounds a cliche, but things like this really do give you a reality check and make you appreciate what you've got. Sid has been amazing throughout this, spoiled me rotten, cooked gorgeous meals (even batch-cooked so we could freeze some) and kept my days occupied so I didn't think about it too much. He's one in a million and I've made sure he knows it!!

Thanks everyone for all your lovely messages of support, meant so much to me. xxxx
