Dog Car Harnesses...

As mentioned in a different thread we will be going on holiday with Whisper fairly soon.

We've been looking at the (( Bergan Dog Car Harness )) as it seems to be the best out there. But it's not cheap lol. Obviously we don't want to compromise on Whisper's safety but are there any other options people would recommend?

Bailiie's is a Clix harness by company of animals. It's easy to fit and fits securely into the seatbelt clip. We are on the second one now (third if we count the one she chewed because I left it out ) and I'm very happy with them.

Bergan is the best by far however there is another one which used to be sold by OTT and it is tested to TUV standards in Sweden

Ruff Rider Roadie used to be available via the Company of ANimals but I do no think they do them any more, they too are safety tested.

None have ISO/EN/ISO marks however.

Most harnesses will prevent a dog leaving the vehicle but wont necessarily prevent injury.

We will probably go for the Bergan then. Whisper is, at least, used to a harness so I don't anticipate any problems with her wearing it.
