Sunday 7th July 2024

Morning all. Guess what? It is raining. Yep we do need it
Hope you all enjoyed whatever you got up to yesterday. Apart from the usual of reading and watching some tele I didn't do much. Oh I did walk twice. When I feel myself nodding in the afternoons that is when I go for my second wander as need to be able to sleep at night. Anyway have a good day today and I hope you find a dry spell to do stuff in. Oh forgot to say I am not having stuffing, I am having lamb with veggies and new cornish potatoes, so much nicer taste than jersey royals. What are your favourite spuds?

Good morning Brenda hope you have managed to get your walk in without getting wet.

Shoery here but have managed to walk Teazle without getting wet. Made some macaroni cheese and that is in the freezer. Think I have covered a few meals for my son when he dog sits Teazle for our holiday. All her food is done and frozen into days just have to bag up her breakfast and then she will be ok. Other than cooking lunch nothing planned for today

Dipped in an out of the football. How we have got this far is beyond belief. We will be ok against the Netherlands if we have to take penalties again as that seems to be the only way we can score

Take care everyone.

Yep managed a walk this morning and now the sun is trying to appear. Wish I could send you all a pic of my Seija. She is 6 months old now. Beautiful. Apparently she may be shown next weekend.

Good afternoon all

It was a lovely morning here. We went a bit earlier because rain was forecast. It started within 5 minutes of getting home and boy did it come down for all of 10 minutes and now it's just overcast.

Ted has a regular group of friends now at the cafe so he's a really good boy while we are there. He has settled down so much since the castration and is a pleasure to take out and still my little cuddle bum at home

I took the plunge and flea treated him and treated the whole house as I usually do and the itching has really subsided so I guess the vet was wrong when she said no fleas, just allergies.

There are loads of deer that have made there home in the edges of the prom in the grass and bushes so I'm guessing this must be where they came from although we have so much wildlife here that my guess may be wrong.

I may just have a nap this afternoon. It took a lot out of my changing all three beds yesterday. I tire easily these days. Ah the joys of getting old

Afternoon all
Chris, Molly ended up with fleas, Steve's adamant they came from the grass but he bought a second hand hoover and I blame that! I have had to buy a can of indorex for his house...he bought the second and I have bought Molly's flea treatment as left to him he would buy bloody bob Martin! He said he hasn't seen any fleas for ages but he saw this thing online where you put a bowl of water with washing up liquid in it near the pets bed and the fleas are drawn to it and drown...Google it for the proper explanation lol.
Sun is shining here, Godiva festival is on but I don't bother going, can hear it in the garden so no need really lol and wouldn't want to pay £6.50 for a can of lager, and would be skint after 2 lol

Chris just a thought if you have deer then also rabbits. Check for ticks under arm pits. Good to hear the itching has calmed down. I am going to watch Wonder Woman1984

I gave him a Cani Trio which I managed to get down him on the third attempt which treats ticks as well because I was worried about that myself Brenda although I do check him for ticks regularly.

The soapy water sounds interesting but as he's usually curled up beside me on the sofa, I don't know where I'd put it
