Sunday 30th June 2024

Morning all. Wow it is the end of another month. Where has that gone to? Anyway I hope you all won yesterday as I did when I logged on to my emails. Just a small win on Thunderball but hey a wins a win. I have banked it and probably won't play again now for a few weeks. The sun at the moment has deserted me down here but maybe later it will come out? Who knows? Hope you get the sun today. Kazz the book I am reading at the moment is called Time to Say Goodbye by Katie Flynn. It is set in wartime again, so far very good. The next one will be a vet book called One Hot Country Summer by Rebecca Shaw. The books I buy I get from the Sally Army Charity shop they only cost 50. A very good bargain. When I have read them I return them to the shop or pass them onto a friend. Have a good one everyone.

Morning brenda and all to follow.
Funny day weather wise one minute sunny the next overcast. Could do with the rain staying away as I need the washing dried, aired and put away as I am expecting not to be able to access the garden and have a line up for a few days from tomorrow.
No lotto wins here.

Kia has been collected the guy is so happy with it and has already been looking into ideas regarding the problem and is looking to possibly get it fixed.
He is happy with how it drives without 4x4 permanently engaged and is happy the 4x4 can be used independently if needed. Gorden has shown him where the fuse box is if he needs to use it and what to do.
One very happy man.

brenda enjoy the book.

Have a good day everyone.

Evening all
Pleased the car has gone Lynn
I have been flat out busy here, my friend who is getting divorced has been having a complete nightmare.... you can't believe how some people behave. Been over today and fitted her a ring wired doorbell, refuge were supposed to be getting her one but they have been saying it for months so I had enough and bought her one. Wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to her or the kids
Then yesterday I had a call from my old neighbour her daughter was in ICU and in a very bad way so I ended up heading over to her mum at the hospital and stayed for a few hours and making sure she got something to eat and drink and that she wasn't alone when her ex husband turned up.
I am knackered!! Dogs have been walked, dinner eaten and now swearing at the TV and the England team

Did it rain Barry ? We thought the same thing here then it blew over.
I bet you ended up cheering griff. We did after a very bad start.
No wonder you're tired what a busy stressful day.

Hi all

Very cloudy and cold this morning but we still got out and about. Sod's law though, I bathed Ted yesterday thinking it wouldn't be as cold as it's been this morning.

Gary broke radio silence yesterday. He's still not fully talking to me so I'm enjoying the peace and quiet while it lasts.
