We got placed....its been a while

Kim and I have gone all year without getting anywhere in agility. She tries so hard but has developed a HUGE avoidance of the weave

Well today was her last show of the year, and because it was an indoor show there was NO WEAVE lol. Well she had 3 fantastic rounds, 2 with minor faults (one 5 and one 10 for those that know agility) and the third round was clear. I finished quite early on in the show and didn't wait to see if we were placed, its usually a no as we are up against about 300 dogs sometimes.

.....but got a text tonight to say Kim got herself a 14th in grade 1-3 combined jumping! (with 200+ dogs in the class). I am fair chuffed with her. It's a nice end to the year.

well done, i was at woodside too and loving the lack of weaves
bens leg just got the ok from the vets so i thought i would run him

one elimination, he took an extra jump
one 5 points, knocked a pole down on a easy bit, guessing overexcited as we havent been doing much (looking at the times we would have been 2nd so he has really speeded up)
and the final round we got 4th, even with a slightly wide turn

a great, but really cold day and fab being given our rossies by the 'grinch', teady bears and witches in the other rings

i wish i had known other dogsey people were there
next time will try and say hi
