Training Some attention Thru play *mini Vid

Just a quick vid of Mav doing some attention work!

I build up the "want for the toy" thru play, & he earns it by paying me the attention & head pos that i want, Youll notice i make it harder for him

i do that with my lot,and the 'watch' command ,my collie toys,my sibes u have to be a tad more imaginative luckily my csv is a 'grub monster' easy to get his attention!! lol

He is lovely!
I am slowly having to train my two to like toys we had to go with the idea of the ball being a target at the end o agility rather than the reward

One day they might be more toy motivated

Lovely watching collies work out how to get their reward, my collie pup is now quite manic for her tug. Mav is so handsome

awww thanks everyone, In this case hes Saying "look im doing it im doing it" some times he will wuff if hes confused, luckily they sound different!

How do you teach the 'out' command? Is that like what I use 'off' for to get him to let go of the toy? Or does the same command include him going to your side?

In competion i use "leave" BUT with his toy i hold his collar & say out at the same time, which Normally works,
his Command for the close Postion is my hand in HW position, no verbal command "should" be required (lol!!!)

If i didnt put my hand into HW he would prob try to do some "postions " infront of me to get his toy back!
