What a busy day and hung wallpaper for the first time !

My hubby is working 7 days a week at the mo and now is starting jury service tomorrow although being self employed he is hoping he is not required , anyway thought I would tackle the paint and papering myself as he is so busy , never done it before and rather pleased with the outcome ! The dogs kept trying to help but fortunately didnt step in the paint !

Here are my efforts our bedroom is now finally finished

Good for you, my friend used to think she needed a man for even the simplest of tasks, she has since discovered she
really likes decorating (with a nudge from me).

I have always been the decorator handy women in this place!

Very smart. I have never been very successful at wallpapering - I have done most decorating / DIY tasks and managed reasonably well but not wallpapering!

Looking good, hope hubby likes the colour It's supposed to be a woman's thing the wallpapering, I've always done it when we did papering, and now that we stick with painted plaster, it's again down to me, he would never pick up a paintbrush, he's the screwdriver man around here. Looks lovely!

Thank you I dont think he would notice the colour lol ! Its a big room with a bay window with a seat in the bay so the large pattern works well , its only on one wall and seems to warm the room up !
