Mine loved it! & one of them faffs about with kidneys. I was surprised at how expensive it was, £3.82 for 2 medium to large & 2 small pieces Afterall, surely to god no human eats it

I used to like Heinz oxtail soup when I was a child. Haven't had it for years!

When I lived in London, I took my father to a local and highly-recommended West Indian restaurant, where to my surprise he chose their Oxtail Stew... said he hadn't had a good oxtail stew for decades.... it's something my mother never liked nor cooked. He reckoned it was genuinely the best Oxtail Stew he'd ever had - I think it had Guinness in the West Indian style sauce which was spiced but well-tempered and not overpowering.

Oxtail can be a bit fatty but if you make a stew with it, cook it long and slowly, leave it to cool and you will be able to skim off the fat the next day before re-heating. Not that I have ever made one myself!

Is it dangerous ? I'll not buy it again if it is & bin the bits that are left.
Lots of people feed it with no problems, I just prefer not to.
