I've tried giving it to my dogs, but they didn't like it. It's quite fatty and I think a little overpriced for a lot of bone, fat and gristle.

If you cook oxtail and let it cool - you will see just how much goo and fat there is in the pan. It all sort of 'solidifies'.

Puts me right off it. I did give it to Bella at one time thinking it would be good for her - but rinsed the bits off well beforehand. After seeing just how 'fatty' it looked in the pan when it cooled - I went right off it.

Tried it once for humans too. The findings? Too much bone, too much fat, too much gristle and overpriced.

Oh dear . I bought some today for the first time & fed it to two of mine. The pup was straight on it giving it a good gnaw, and then buried it in the garden-I've now buried it in the bin. The Goldie paced with it in his mouth for half an hour, growling at any of the cats that dared to come near. When I held it he strated to eat it and then finished it off.

Is it dangerous ? I'll not buy it again if it is & bin the bits that are left.
