Molly - 7 year old female Patterdale

Molly, Patterdale, DOB 05 – Bungay, Suffolk


Homing Requirements: Molly needs a terrier owner that is appreciative of a 'wired- feisty' terrier i.e a Patterdale. Molly needs a secure terrier proof garden with front door management. She would love to be an only dog with no visiting dogs. Will 'meld' with dogs but will be defensive with intrusive dogs or rushed introductions. Not for cats, small furries or feathers.

Her Story: Molly grew up with her litter sister Doris. Two bitch terriers is never a good idea and sadly with Molly and Doris this has proved the case. They have bad fights about every 6 months and can gee each other up outside, so owners were best advised to re-home one. Living with 3 very young children it's difficult for the mother to manage the 2 dogs generally. Neutered, vax'd and chipped. Still in her own home in Bungay, Suffolk.

Advert: Molly is a great Patterdale. Sent away for an intensive training course, the leader felt there was nothing wrong with Molly. A normal Patterdale, "What it says on the tin" and pleasantly surprised at her even temperament! She is good around very young children and great with people and visitors once her initial excitement fades. She has been highly socialized, just one incident in 7 years with a neighbour's dog and has sadly never been forgiven. She has mixed with small dogs and lived briefly with them. She is accomplished but the scrapes with her litter sister makes it difficult, not knowing the trigger, so its better she becomes an only dog.

Molly is a smooth haired Patterdale with bright eyes and a sunny disposition. She needs a terrier family behind her guiding her excitement. She is a well socialized Patterdale who needs lots of exercise and her lifestyle will reflect in her settlement.
