Memorials

bit of an odd one, but its my friends church service memorial on thursday and i dont know whats acceptable to wear. I cant believe its been a year since she left us and i cant imagine the service being a particularly joyous occasion....

despite dressing in black from head to toe most days im not sure what i should wear to this. help.

As it's a year on, I would just dress smartly.

Any colour you decide to wear can be in celebration of her life rather than the mourning of her death

Agree with Vicki - any smart clothes and doesn't have to be black. If you decide to wear black then you can perhaps team it with a coloured scarf just to look a bit brighter.

Agree with Vicki. We didn't wear black at my Dad's funeral last year as it was about a celebration of his life as he was 86 and a half when he died. I just wore a smart grey trouser suit with a pale pink shirt.

i dont know if i can face going. i want to but then i dont want to. I wish i had someone to go with
