Spots/pimples

Pereg has developed a few red spots/pimples in her groin which do not appear to itch but which she licks at times.

As she lays on her side her groin is not open to the air.

I am not sure if these photos show them but will try.

I have Calendula cream. Tea Tree Antiseptic cream. Tea Trea & E Antiseptic Cream. Just do not know whether too use any of them or just leave the spots alone.

They look like what Coco gets in her groin. Could it be a staph infection?

I'd have her checked over by the vet to be sure but it could just be acne?

She is not due to go to the vet until the end of this month, when she will have a full blood work-up - and I really do not want to have to take her before if the spots/pimples are not anything to worry about.

They have not increased in number but are a just a bit more noticeable now, although Pereg is not licking them.

I just wondered whether any of the creams I have should/could be used on them.

Just a thought - could the spots possibly be from where she has urinated on herself during a seizure and I have not properly cleaned her afterwards? And as she spends most of the time flat out on her side [she is lazy!] that area does not get much air to it.

I have checked her all over and those spots are only in her groin area, nowhere else.

As we have another two weeks of Holy Days and Festivals with some days surgery closed and other days only open for half a day [although there is, of course, 24 hour emergency cover], I really do not want to take her to the vet at the moment unless it is really necessary.

Quite possible mild infection due to leakage, bathe and put calendula cream on. Cannot hurt.

Thanks. I was not sure which cream would be suitable which is why I asked.

The spots are not quite as red as they look in the picture [nor is my hand] but at least it did show them fairly clearly.

Many thanks again.
