Foundations of Gundog Training Helen Phillips 25/26 Aug Lincoln

Riseholme Campus, University of Lincoln.

Helen Phillips, one of the country’s leading clicker based gundog trainers and author of the book ‘Clicker Gundog’, will be coming to Lincoln for a weekend workshop to introduce the concepts and fundamentals of gundog training. The weekend will be aimed at dogs and handlers new to gundog training or those wanting to revisit the basics. All breeds are welcome! Training will be based on using positive, motivational techniques, with an emphasis on incorporating the clicker into gundog training.

Dogs must be able to work comfortably off lead around other dogs and handlers should have a basic understanding of clicker training.

Handler places £135.00
Spectator places £55.00 for both days, £30.00

Why!! WHYYY when I'm going to be on Holiday!

I have emailied this to my OH, he is really interested in incorporating clicker training into gundog work, thanks SB.

Helen is a fabulous trainer, very quiet and very effective as well as being very kind.

She'll get on well with him then

I have her book but haven't had time to read all of it yet! What I have read is good though
Would really like to go on this but not sure I can get the Saturday off work

Just bumping this up in case anyone has forgotton about it or not seen it.

Shame it is in August as I am not allowed to take any holiday during that month due to the Olympics!
