Really varied taste here too as OH is a guitar teacher.
Lots of old rockers plus a lot of the newer bands...anything that brings guitars back into bands are a plus in our house. One of my current favs are Snow Patrol! Also love a lot of the new country bands, but that comes from my Canadian roots I suppose.

PS - you've made a friend for life in my OH by saying Gary Moore and Stevie Ray Vaughan
heh- i LOVE Steve Earl, Gary Moore and SRVaughan- have seen them all live.....SRV the year before he died -at Newcastle City Hall..

I like Jethro Tull, Wishbone Ash, bit of Genesis, some Caravan, Ben Granfelt, Gary Moore, Camel, Jeff Healey, Martin Barre on his own, Ian Anderson on his own, a great US guitarist called Curtis Reid is pretty good - that kind of thing - lots of self-indulgent guitar solos and prog-type stuff.

Alice Cooper
Cher
Paul Simon
Billy Joel
Fleetwod Mac
The Eagles
Eurythmics

Can't listen to hiphop or rap though.

Hmmm, where to start...

Old favourites: The Pixies, The Prodigy, Leonard Cohen, Jimi Hendrix, Nick Drake, Buena Vista Social Club, DJ Shadow, The Stranglers, Winton Marsalis, Beastie Boys...

More recent additions: Jose Gonzales, The Zutons, Four Tet...

I'll give anything a try

Oh, and I like UB40 too!
