for the very same reasons you have all just higlighted (depressing and totally unappealing chracters) Doesn't sound like there has been any improvement! I only watch Corrie, at least theres comedy in that.

Why can't the writers give Walford a happy chrimbo for once! I don't want to be reminded of death at christmas it's just not on especially when you have loved ones that can't be with you! I know it's only a soap but I'm not going to contribute to the ratings! Anyone with me on this?
