Yup! I don't read tabloids, either (not even in the doctor's waiting room!), but I did pick up on this somewhere. I found it so rivetingly interesting that I can't remember where I saw it!

I stopped watching Eastenders when they killed off Tiffany, for the very same reasons you have all just higlighted (depressing and totally unappealing chracters) Doesn't sound like there has been any improvement! I only watch Corrie, at least theres comedy in that.

I'm not going to watch eastenders a Xmas because it's all going to be doom and gloom. Not only is Nana Moon going to die but I heard exactly who it is that dies on New Years Eve too... Not going to put the spoiler on here but it's shocking!!

Why can't the writers give Walford a happy chrimbo for once! I don't want to be reminded of death at christmas it's just not on especially when you have loved ones that can't be with you!
I know it's only a soap but I'm not going to contribute to the ratings! Anyone with me on this?
i wont be watching it, it would upset me too much as my grandad passed away last year the day before new years eve :smt022 cant believe its been a year, i still miss him.
