RIP Laptop :(

My laptop has died
When I switch on the screen stays black.....nothing at all.
When I try to switch it off, nothing, it won't switch off, unless I take the battery out
There are 2 weeks left of the guarantee so guess where it is going tomorrow
Meanwhile I am exiled to my little room again (quite like it really )

oh no, that's not good, although timing wise, much better now than in 2.1 weeks time!

Oh dear

It's now in the 'puter hospital
Took it back to Comet this morning and they have sent it back to Acer.
The feeling is that the back light has gone
I've told Comet it is like losing my right arm and they reckon I should have it back in 18 days. Good job my desktop still works!

Oh dear. I'm sure they'll sort it. 18 days though, nightmare!

I splashed out couple months ago and got a "Netbook", never use the laptop now. Brilliant little thing and highly recommend them
