Saffy the monster!

I went to the vets yesterday with Saffy to be weighed and she weighed 34kg! and shes only 9months, vet said he had never come across a Boxer bitch weighing that at 9 months. I asked if she needed to go on a diet and he said she wasnt fat just big and very muscular. He also asked if I was sure she was a pedigree Boxer.

This set me thinking she is KC registered and I saw the mother (small Boxer) but I never saw the father. The gentleman selling Saffy and her siblings said the mother and father were his wifes dogs and he himself owned a Dogue de Bordeaux stud dog. I actually saw the Dogue de Bordeaux stud but like I say I never saw the stud Boxer dog.

She is going to be a big girl.

Shes even more of a monster now!!!!! I was just sat at the computer with Tia on my lap, Saffy came up behind me and planted her front legs on my shoulders so she could lick me, the huge madam stuck her claws in my bare shoulder, I know look like Iv been in a cat fight.

Saffy looks like a Proper Boxer in the pix I dont think theres any DDB in her Rox. Shes prob jus a big girl and u might find she grows a lot slower now... when do Boxers stop growing generally?

I hope so! I was told by the vet Boxers generally keep growing until their 18 months! She will probably be in the Guiness Book or Records for the biggest Boxer in the world.

i'm never sure when they stop growing.

seem to think in the past being told by the breeder height wise by a year (ish) and then anything from 18-24 months to fill out.

when she is in the guiness book of records will she be doing autographs :smt003

Yes autographs will be allowed although they will be just paw prints allover your clothes

the paw prints will blend in well with the white hairs and snot that all clothes seem to have within half an hour of wearing.

we are taking dudley to meet his boxer friend on wednesday nite, cant wait to see them playing together, when he first met him he was little so it will be interesting to see the size of them now.
