Chewing... i glad I havent got a gun

Yesterday we took our lab out for a drive, as she loves being in the car. I have a Renault scenic and she stays in the back quite happily (normally) I gave her a chew on the way home and she laid down and was very quiet for the rest of the journey. ( i couldn't see her or hear her).
When I open the back door to let her out , she was wagging her tail profusely. then i saw it, a whopping great hole if the back of the rear seats and most of the foam stuffing over the floor . I could not believe she could have done that with out either one of us hearing.
The moral of this story is, if you have a cage use it. which is what I have done today.

If any one know where there are some rear seats for my car please contact me I dont know why I am still smiling.
Dont we love Dogs

Yikes I have a lab also. I guess I have to admit that I'm lucky cause she hasn't chewed anything. Shes an 18 month old Black lab. I knock on wood that she doesn't chew anything.

Crikey, maybe I won't moan about Ollie chewing everything wooden in the house then, including digging up and chewing two small pieces of laminate flooring at 3am this morning.
Hope you can get the seats sorted.Tried E-Bay.

Just a thought - Do you have leather upholstery in your car?

Bit of a disaster, life with dogs eh! We had a lab. many years ago, she was a chewer as well. Hope you find a new seat soon.
