Saffy is so unobservant!

Today whilst Saffy and Max were in the garden we fitted a new dog gate to the doorway between the kitchen and the front room. The last gate was only a child safety gate and Saffy had learnt to open the kitchen door, then jump the gate when we were in bed.

The new gate is twice as high. Saffy n Max came in from the garden and neither notice the new gate, my OH and I went into the front room to watch the dinnertime news and Saffy decided she fancied coming in the front room so she did her usual or backing up and leaping up to land on the top of the gate, only new gate is far higher than she was expecting and she hit it midway and slid down like in a cartoon. Then she sat down and stared at the gate. We were all laffing cuz she was totally baffled how the gate had got so big!!!!!
