Aggy Aggy Aggy! I like the name! I know an Aggy and she is LOVELY!

Oh that day when you bring your new dog home! So exciting and you'll get nothing else much done! Pups and babies are both a delightful way to 'waste time'!

They're still running tests, they hadn't expected her to be in a home so quick lol I'm going to be working closely with the vets to hopefully find out what making her ill

She's underweight, anaemic, bad arthritis in all her joints around her legs, low protein, inflamed pancreas and her lypids are high. So far she's on tramadol and zytec and specific dog food but shes in the middle of tests, one that's finished she needs to start a course of antibiotics for a cough she has

They're testing for her liver function and gut parasites at the moment because her appetite is fine but shes not putting on weight

What a worry for you - I hope things turn out to be not too serious.

But whatever is wrong with her, she's going to do much better once she feels safe in her new home.

Oh what a downer to read she is unwell. I hope it can be easily sorted and I know she will get lots of TLC when she gets into her new home. Good luck, hope all goes well.

Oh and I like the name Aggie but like Freya too

I'm preparing my self for worst so any more is a bonus. Regardless I wanted to give her the love and warmth and routine an old girl like her deserves so nothing changes, I might just not get quite as much time with her as I hoped. Given the recent vet news decided the name Agatha stays lol after all that haha will be a lot less confusion when it come to all the testing and working with different vets.

Everything crossed for you for a good outcome here Laura. I do admire you wanting to do your best for this old girl.
