The UKRCB is delighted to announce its 21st annual Symposium will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2013.

Our speaker will be Dr. Anne MacBride and her subject is “What Is Your Dog Saying!”.

While we communicate verbally with animals, for the most part they communicate with each other and us by body language. They understand body language far better and more naturally than we do. Learning to read that body language and respond appropriately has enormous rewards for both the dog and the owner. Understanding how a dog reads your body language may change your relationship with your dog for the better forever.

Anne MacBride is a well known and respected practising animal behaviourist, and was head clinician at the Animal Behaviour Clinic at the University of Southampton. She has lectured internationally on various aspects of animal behaviour and the human-animal bond. As well as being an honorary member of the UKRCB, Anne is affiliated actively with many canine behaviour advisory organizations and has been awarded accolades for her contribution to the field of pet behaviour.

This will be a day of enormous insight into the fascinating exploration of inter species communication. Anne MacBride is a compelling and accomplished speaker who encourages her audiences to think laterally and often question perceived wisdom.
